This is a place where I would like to share my love for crafts. I started at a young age when it comes to crafting. I give credit to my Grandmother Twylah for her creativity, which, I think I inheirited!
It started with the UMW meeting at our house and sewing up crafts, such as stuffed animals and dolls, for needy children. I remember wanting to help and when an animal or doll needed to be stuffed, that became my job! Oh how I loved it.
My grandma, who is now 87, and still crafts, always gave away a set of Raggedy Anne and Andys whenever a new baby was born, they went to friends and family and mostly to her favorite charities. I cant even begin to imagine how many sets of those that were given away! Up until a year ago, grandma made the classic sets of Raggedy Anne and Andys, when she announced that she would no longer be able to make them, I took it upon myself to take over that favored family tradition. This I know made her very proud, especially since I am the first grandchild!
When I decided to get back into crafting this past year, I did a lot of searching as to what is really out there. I had not done crafts for several years, so I had lost touch as to what is current. In my search I discovered the world of Prim, and immediately fell in love with this craft technique. Why did it take me so long to discover it?!!
Because I had always wanted to have my own website and I rediscovered my love for crafting, my www.angelmuffies.com, was born. Now I have to say, I am not computer savvy, I just know what I need to, to get me by. It has been quite the learning experience in learning how to build my own site. I looked into having it built for me, but the expense was just too great for me. I used the heck out of google to find what I needed and finally managed to get my site published!
I recently lost my job, so needless to say most of my time spent is working on my website and the crafts that I love!
